Pueo is seeking a Zero Trust Future-State Architect - Senior Technical Advisor to join our team onsite in McLean, VA. The role is 60% architecture and 40% coordination, shaping reference architectures and policy integration across a large enterprise.

The ideal candidate holds an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility, a masters degree, 12 years of related experience (5+ in Zero Trust), and DoD-aligned certifications. You will drive strategy and accreditation efforts across CIO divisions.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and CI poly.
• Masters degree and 12 years of experience with 5+ in Zero Trust.
• One of: CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP.
• Ability to operate without direct authority and build coalitions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical advisor and implementation lead for the CIO Zero Trust program.
• Advise on adoption strategies, roadmaps, and policy integration.
• Design, integrate and implement Zero Trust across large enterprise IT environments.
• Guide integration into enterprise networks, multi-cloud, and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Drive cross‑divisional progress and remediation planning.
• Develop detailed Zero Trust reference architectures and designs.
• Coordinate with senior leadership and mission stakeholders to align Zero Trust with enterprise workflows.
• Prepare executive reports and briefings as a technical liaison.
