Job summary

Pueo Business Solutions LLC seeks a senior Zero Trust Application Advisor to serve as principal liaison supporting the CIO’s Zero Trust Program and JWICS readiness. You will guide application teams through pre-accreditation and translate requirements into actionable tasks.

You will review architectures, data flows, and API interfaces against DoD ZT standards, help define acceptance criteria, and collaborate with enterprise cyber leadership to resolve integration risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Senior) or Master’s degree (Expert) in software/cybersecurity/IS.
• 12+ years in enterprise cybersecurity, architecture, or advisory roles in federal/IC.
• 5+ years of software development, DevSecOps, or software architecture experience; no hands‑on engineering in this role.
• 3+ years advising on ZT, ICAM integration, secure APIs, micro-segmentation, for classified networks.
• Demonstrated success leading technical engagements and guiding multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Guide application owners through pre-accreditation readiness and gates.
• Review architectures, data flows, API specs against CIO-issued ZT requirements and document gaps.
• Translate ZT objectives into functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and checklists.
• Coordinate alignment with identity, device/workload posture, data tagging, and telemetry services.
• Escalate bottlenecks and risks to senior ZT architects with recommended actions.
