Job summary

Interclypse, Inc. seeks a senior enterprise IT security architect to lead Zero Trust initiatives for Maryland state agency projects. You will design and implement secure architectures across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments, mentor staff, and ensure standards compliance with NIST frameworks.

The role requires a strong background in enterprise cybersecurity, a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), and at least 10 years of relevant experience in security architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• At least ten (10) years of experience in planning, designing, building, and implementing IT systems.
• Seven (7) years in direct design and implementation of enterprise-level cybersecurity architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design of major IT security projects with deep expertise in Zero Trust and cloud security.
• Develop and implement a Zero Trust Architecture roadmap for cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
• Provide technical guidance, mentor junior staff, and ensure alignment with NIST standards.
