Job summary

Leidos Digital is seeking a Journeyman Cyber Security Engineer (Microsoft) to support the USSOCOM EDAT Zero Trust initiative. You will work with Microsoft security technologies to strengthen DoD visibility and analytics and enable security automation.

The role requires hands-on engineering and operational tasks under senior guidance, with TS/SCI eligibility. You will implement and tune Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Purview, Entra ID, and related services.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field; and 4-8 years of relevant experience.
Three or more (3+) years of experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity or Microsoft security platforms.
Experience administering or supporting Microsoft enterprise security solutions.
Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, Purview, Entra ID, Logic Apps, or Behavior Analytics.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft security technologies within the Zero Trust architecture.
Deploy and administer Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Purview, Entra ID, Logic Apps, and related services.
Configure analytics rules, dashboards, and automation workflows to improve threat detection.
Support UEBA and SOAR capabilities using Microsoft security platforms.
Collaborate with ISSOs, system admins, and DoD stakeholders supporting Zero Trust.
Assist with RMF documentation, security controls, and ATO artifacts.
