Job summary

AnaVation is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to support a cybersecurity program in our San Antonio office. The role leads zero trust engineering, interoperability, and modern security capability development across Government enterprise, managing cloud security, and driving continuous improvement across Cloud structures.

The ideal candidate will design and implement AWS cloud architecture using Terraform and Ansible, support SIEM/SOAR/IMS/IRT roadmaps, and coordinate with ISSMs, ISSEs, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Cloud Computing, IT, or related field.
• Advanced degree in a related technical field is preferred.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II and AWS certification are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead zero trust engineering and interoperability initiatives for cloud security modernization.
• Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud architecture using Terraform and Ansible.
• Support SIEM, SOAR, IMS, and IRT roadmap, engineering, and integration.
• Architect logging, monitoring, and telemetry with CSSP coordination.
• Maintain enterprise security tooling and enforce Zero Trust controls across mission environments.
