Job summary

Epstein Architecture, Engineering and Construction seeks a Construction Site Safety Manager for a Manteno, Illinois project. You will lead the site safety program, perform inspections, train staff, and ensure compliance with Site Specific Safety Plans and subcontractor safety data.

Collaborative efforts with Client’s safety officials are essential. The role requires 10+ years in construction safety, OSHA certifications, strong organizational skills, and effective communication in English

Qualifications

• At least 10+ years of construction safety program management experience.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required; OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; proficient in English; Spanish beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train Epstein staff on the Safety Program and toolbox talks.
• Develop Site Specific Safety Plans and review subcontractor safety data.
• Oversee on-site safety inspections and enforce remediation actions.
• Coordinate safety efforts with client and safety officials; support emergencies.
• Promote a zero-injury safety culture across the project.
• Support prequalification of subcontractors based on safety information.
