Job summary

Enso Village in Healdsburg, California, seeks a Life Enrichment Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Specialist and Director in creating person-centered programs for Memory Care, Assisted Living, and Independent Living.

The role blends creativity, organization, and compassion to foster joy, purpose, and connection, promoting residents’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or certification in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in senior living, recreation, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license; ability to drive community vehicles preferred.
• Regular schedule consists of five days per week with weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist plan, prepare, and implement daily activity programs under supervision.
• Lead or co-facilitate small group and one-on-one programs (art, music, exercise, crafts, games).
• Conduct one-on-one visits and individualized engagement for residents.
• Escort residents to activities and ensure participation and safety.
• Help organize community events, holidays, and outings.
• Collaborate with care staff to support resident well-being and program delivery.
• Drive Enso Village bus or other vehicle for resident outings.
