Job summary

RBW Consulting is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to support a growing inspection backlog in an aerospace and defense manufacturing environment in Massachusetts. You will develop, edit, and optimize Zeiss Calypso inspection programs to improve throughput and part release accuracy.

Collaborating with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams, you will interpret drawings, GD&T, and inspection plans, troubleshoot measurement issues, and help design inspection fixtures for complex,

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on CMM programming experience.
Hands on experience using Zeiss Calypso.
Excellent understanding of GD&T, metrology, and dimensional inspection.
Experience programming for complex, tight-tolerance mechanical components.
Aerospace, defense, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, edit, and optimize CMM inspection programs using Zeiss Calypso.
Create inspection routines for precision mechanical components supporting production and part release.
Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection plans.
Troubleshoot measurement issues and improve inspection efficiency.
Partner with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Tooling teams to support production.
Support fixture concepts, inspection setup, and documentation for complex components.
