Job summary

Miami University is seeking a Zamboni Operator - Goggin Student Assistant to help run Goggin Ice Center operations and support events, including Division I hockey games.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, mechanical skills, and the ability to work weekends and evenings. The appointment is student (Fixed Term) with limited weekly hours; training on Safe Ice Resurfacer is provided.

Summary

This position will play an integral role in the daily operations of Goggin Ice Center and facility events including Division I Hockey games.

Essential Duties

• Operate Zamboni Ice Resurfacer.
• Assist with ice arena maintenance and/or cleaning.
• Assist with upkeep and sharpening of skates.
• Assist with event setup and teardown.
• Assist with set‑up, staging, and clean‑up procedures of Division I hockey games.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands
