Job summary

Miami University seeks a Zamboni Operator for Goggin Ice Center. This student assistant role supports daily rink operations, ice resurfacing, and event preparations for Division I hockey games at Goggin Ice Center in Oxford, Ohio.

Duties include operating the Zamboni, assisting with maintenance and skate upkeep, and helping with setup/teardown for games. Weekend and evening availability is required; on-campus, part-time, fixed-term position for the academic year.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills required to operate equipment.
• Able to follow policies and procedures.
• Requires Safe Ice Resurfacer Operator Training.
• Must have a valid driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate Zamboni Ice Resurfacer.
• Assist with ice arena maintenance and cleaning.
• Assist with skate upkeep and sharpening.
• Assist with event setup/teardown for games.
• Work weekends and evenings as needed.
