Job summary

Peak Financial Planning seeks a YouTube Manager to turn retirement-planning expertise into long-form videos that perform at peak levels and generate measurable business outcomes. You will own titles, thumbnails, metadata, upload operations, livestreams, analytics, and back-catalogue optimization, owning subscriber growth and client inquiries.

This is a remote, United States–based role reporting to the Chief Growth Officer and collaborating with the video editor and thumbnail designer to shape

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing high-volume YouTube channel.
• Deep command of YouTube packaging: thumbnails, titles, CTR, retention.
• Strong analytics and data-driven decision making.
• Experience running A/B tests for YouTube content.
• Familiarity with AI tools for analytics or interest to build.
• Proficiency with project-management tools.
• Strong written communication for titles, descriptions.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving remote environment.
• Experience with financial/retirement media preferred.
• Familiarity with advertising and recordkeeping in financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the creative direction of YouTube packaging (titles and thumbnails).
• Run complete upload operations including descriptions, tags, chapters, end screens, cards, and QA.
• Operate clips channels and livestreams.
• Ensure all videos pass editorial, technical, brand, and compliance checks.
• Build and run an AI-powered testing framework for thumbnails and titles.
• Own YouTube analytics and AI-driven workflows for reporting.
• Translate performance insights into video ideas and distribution decisions.
• Audit and re-optimize back catalogue with prioritization framework.
• Track impact on impressions, views, subscribers, consultations, and revenue.
• Monitor retirement/financial content landscape for opportunities.
• Evaluate and roll out YouTube features with test-and-measure.
• Maintain connection between channel performance and downstream business outcomes.
• Align with SEC compliance requirements.
