Job summary

Hammer Media seeks a Channel Producer for The Caleb Hammer Show in East Austin. You will own day-to-day production operations, streamline workflows, and enable talent to create compelling content while identifying growth opportunities.

In this role, you will shape content strategy, oversee packaging (titles/thumbnails), manage production schedules, and collaborate with talent and the creative team to turn ideas into execution in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

The Caleb Hammer Show is a fast growing YouTube channel, already breaking into the Top 100.

Hosted by Caleb Hammer and his co-host Brandon, the show delivers entertaining, unfiltered reactions to the internet’s viral moments.

We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive Channel Producer to help take the show to the next level. In this role, you'll own the day-to-day production operations, streamline workflows, and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes so our on-screen talent can focus on what they do best: creating compelling content.

But this isn't just a logistics role. You'll be a key partner in the channel's growth, helping identify opportunities to improve production, elevate content quality, and keep the team ahead of what's trending. You'll work closely with our talent and creative team to turn ideas into execution, solve problems before they arise, and help scale this exciting new channel.

What You’ll Do:

Content Strategy & Packaging

• Identify, curate, and prioritize compelling clips and moments for channel uploads, with a strong understanding of what drives views and engagement
• Oversee video packaging, including titles, thumbnails, and content positioning, to optimize performance
• Monitor channel performance and audience engagement to identify opportunities to optimize content and drive growth

Channel Operations & Production

• Own the day-to-day operational workflow of the channel, ensuring content moves efficiently from ideation through production and publishing
• Coordinate production schedules, content calendars, and deliverables to keep the channel organized and on track
• Manage channel moderation and community engagement, helping maintain a positive and active audience experience
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners and vendors, ensuring clear communication and timely execution
• Proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, freeing up on-screen talent to focus on creating great content

Strategic Collaboration

• Partner closely with on-screen talent to review content and provide thoughtful, candid feedback on topics, episodes, and creative concepts to continuously elevate content quality.
• Experiment with new topics, formats, and creative approaches to drive audience growth and engagement
• Act as a trusted creative and operational partner, balancing the needs of a fast-moving production environment with the channel's long-term growth goals
