Job summary

Southeastern-Utah Association of Local Governments (SEUALG) seeks a YouthBuild Program Specialist to organize and direct the YouthBuild delivery, coordinating education, vocational training, counseling and case management to empower participants toward workforce readiness.

Under policy guidance from the Community Engagement Director and Executive Team, you will supervise staff, ensure contractual compliance, prepare grants and reports, and build partnerships with schools, employers and agencies

Qualifications

• Associates degree in psychology or related field required.
• Experience in counseling, job development, or crisis intervention preferred.
• Willingness to teach youth about service systems and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate education, vocational training, counseling and case management for YouthBuild.
• Ensure program compliance with contractual requirements and policies.
• Supervise staff and coordinate recruitment, training, and orientation.
• Assess work readiness needs of YouthBuild participants and provide resources.
