The Salvation Army is seeking a part-time Youth Program Assistant to support after-school activities and a summer day camp. The role involves supervising children, helping with homework, and assisting in delivering program activities.
Work hours are Monday–Friday, 2:45 P.M.–6:00 P.M., at our Lincoln location. Driving for program transportation is required. A background check is required and safety procedures will be followed.

This position protects, guides, stimulates, and helps the children in our programs. This position shares the responsibility of developing our programs and program procedures. This position becomes counselor, teacher, spiritual leader, confidante, and role model.
To supervise all youth in The Salvation Army (TSA) programs.
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Must pass all applicable background checks. Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business. Must successfully complete Safe from Harm training within 90 days of hire, as established by The Salvation Army.

The majority of the workday will be in a mixed environment including offices and other program spaces. In addition, this position may be exposed to indoor and outdoor work areas and locations that may be considered moderately loud in nature.
