Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada seeks a Healthy Lifestyles Specialist to oversee Health & Wellness and Sports & Recreation programs at assigned Clubhouses. The role includes planning, development, reporting, and implementation in collaboration with the Programs team.

The Specialist may serve as acting Clubhouse supervisor in the absence of leadership, and will mentor members while promoting safe, inclusive environments and program participation across youth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft/Google productivity suites.
• Ability to manage multi-age groups and coordinate activities.
• Strong organizational and deadline-driven capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Commitment to safety and youth development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Healthy Lifestyles programs and activities at assigned Clubhouse(s).
• Plan and administer Healthy Lifestyles initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
• Maintain grant compliance and program metrics.
• Mentor members and enforce behavior standards per guidelines.
• Coordinate communication of programs to members and families.
• Assist with other Clubhouse operations as needed.
