Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago seeks a Van Driver to transport youth and staff between locations, schools, and sites in a safe, reliable manner. You will follow schedules, enforce safety rules, and maintain passenger documentation.

The role requires a 25+ year old driver with a valid IL license; CPR/First Aid is preferred or obtainable. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; a positive, respectful demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Valid Illinois driver's license and insurability per company policy.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred, or ability to obtain.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Club-owned vans to transport youth and staff.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Follow routes and schedules; ensure passenger safety and behavior.
• Maintain transportation records and documentation.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance with supervisors.
• Communicate with staff and families about transportation.
• Foster a positive, welcoming environment for youth.
