Abraxas Youth & Family Services in Marienville, PA is seeking a Treatment Supervisor I to direct unit activities and supervise staff, ensuring a safe, structured environment for adolescents. You will guide teams, manage schedules, and promote high-quality care.

The role offers a $55,000 annual salary with potential increases for education and experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package and weekend coverage. This position requires day and evening shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 60 college credits and three years of experience working with children
• Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience working with children

Responsibilities

• Maintain employee schedules that provide adequate coverage to ensure safety for both clients and staff.
• Develop and implement systems to organize and monitor work activities.
• Interview and select qualified candidates for posted positions.
• Structure, implement, and facilitate new employee orientation and training.
• Create professional development plans with employees to support growth and success.
• Conduct supervisory conferences and performance evaluations while providing constructive feedback.
• Implement progressive discipline when necessary in accordance with policy.
• Respond to Step I grievances.
• Schedule employee training to ensure mandatory training requirements are met.
• Provide ongoing supervision to unit employees and monitor case management activities.
• Schedule team meetings, develop agendas, and promote communication and teamwork.
• Support the Abraxas mission, philosophy, and Seven Key Principles of Care.
• Demonstrate and supervise the appropriate use of Safe Crisis Management (SCM).

Education
