Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program is seeking a Contingent Treatment Advocate in Toledo, OH. This role involves working with youth and families, providing one-on-one advocacy and transportation to appointments, and contributing to treatment/service planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred or enrollment in a related program.
• Experience in child welfare is preferred.
• Willingness to travel daily and meet clients on flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventions with clients while transporting to appointments and visits.
• Contribute to youth treatment/service plan development as needed.
• Engage with youth to build trusting, supportive relationships and help achieve goals.
• Provide PSR and/or TBS services (Training provided).
• Document conversations and outcomes and submit billing paperwork.
• Identify community resources for youth development and goal attainment.
• Assist in family reunification efforts and stable living arrangements.
• Assist in crisis situations during day, afternoon, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
