Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program seeks an Ancillary Services Treatment Advocate in Lima, OH. This contingent, non-benefits position offers afternoon hours, up to 19 per week, with mileage reimbursement and flexible scheduling.

You will work with youth and families, transport clients, and assist in developing and implementing treatment/service plans while engaging in crisis support as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience in child welfare preferred.
• Daily travel with flexible schedule including after school hours and weekends.
• 18 years of age or older; reliable telephone.
• Proficient use of computers, smartphones, and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventions as needed while transporting clients to appointments and visits.
• Participate in development of youth treatment/service plans.
• Interact with youth to build trusting, supportive relationships and help achieve goals.
• Provide PSR and/or TBS services (training provided).
• Engage clients, document conversations and outcomes, and submit billing paperwork.
• Identify community resources to support youth development and goals.
• Assist in family reunification efforts or other living arrangements.
• Assist in crisis situations during daytime, afternoons, evenings, weekends.
