Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) seeks a Contingent Ancillary Services Treatment Advocate for Trumbull County, Warren, OH. The role focuses on advocacy for youth and families with a direct, hands-on approach and transportation to appointments.

Responsibilities include interventions during transport, developing treatment plans with youth, and coordinating with partners to reach goals. Training provided for PSR/TBS services in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or enrollment in an accredited program; GED or HS diploma accepted.
• Experience in child welfare; preferred.
• Daily travel with flexible schedule including after-hours/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventions during transport to appointments and visits.
• Assist in developing youth treatment/service plans.
• Engage youth to build trusting relationships and support goal achievement.
• Provide PSR and/or TBS services; training provided.
• Document conversations and outcomes for billing.
• Identify community resources to support youth development and goals.
• Assist in family reunification efforts and alternative living arrangements.
• Assist in crisis situations during day, evening, weekends.
