The Transporter will provide transportation, care, and supervision to youth in a residential/house setting for Manny Anthony & Co. LLC (Transports). Employees will ensure youth are monitored and safe, while also providing support and consistency during shift transitions from morning to evening. The primary responsibility is to provide transportation to/from agencies, housing, and/or school, with supervision between drop-offs as applicable.

Responsibilities

1. Provide safe and timely transportation services to youth using agency or personal vehicles (mileage paid).
2. Coordinate and update transportation schedules and logs.
3. Maintain licensure and vehicle insurance.
4. Support and monitor youth during transportation.
5. Work with vulnerable and disadvantaged youth with a positive attitude.
6. Create a positive, productive atmosphere of grace, enthusiasm, and commitment.
7. Engage youth using best practices.
8. Employ crisis intervention skills when needed to de-escalate situations.
9. Make decisions in sensitive and critical situations, aligning responses with policies.
10. Communicate professionally while maintaining confidentiality.
11. Complete all required logs and paperwork.
12. Follow all relevant policies and procedures.
13. Ensure company vehicles are used only for business; personal use is prohibited. Only MACO staff and youth in care are allowed in vehicles.
14. Attend all staff meetings.
15. Work scheduled shifts to ensure proper compensation.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Flexibility and team collaboration skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some experience with youth preferred.
• At least 21 years old.
• Pass Level 2 background and fingerprint checks as mandated by the state.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; pass annual vehicle checks.
• Physical ability to drive, complete paperwork, read materials, communicate effectively, and handle high-stress situations.

Job Details

• Type: Full-Time (40+ hours)
• Schedule: Weekend availability; potential overnight transports or supervision.

This is an on-call/after-hours position. Transport/supervise may occur during early mornings, evenings, or nights, depending on circumstances.
