Sample Control Technician/Courier - Eurofins Environment Testing Southeast - Tampa, FL

Eurofins Environment Testing is seeking a Sample Control Technician in Tampa, FL.

The technician will log and track samples received and shipped, prepare bottle kits for clients, and ensure accurate documentation of sample handling. Responsibilities also include determining sample testing priorities, labeling, storing samples, and performing pick-up and delivery duties, including driving company vehicles. The role requires lifting coolers with ice and driving as a significant component.

Sample Control Technician I responsibilities include:

• Unloading and verifying incoming samples against Chain of Custody (COC) documents, resolving discrepancies.
• Logging samples into the Lab Management System, labeling, and cataloging.
• Preparing sample kits daily for clients.
• Monitoring temperature of freezers and coolers to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Driving to pick up and deliver samples.
• Performing stock and inventory tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle background check.

Requirements:

• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or sponsorship.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with potential overtime and Saturday hours. Candidates residing near Tampa, FL are encouraged to apply.

Pay rate: $18/hr. Compensation may vary based on experience and other factors.
