Job summary

Youth-and-Family-Alternatives in Brooksville, FL seeks a Family Support Worker to provide transportation and support services for children in the CBC program. This field-based role requires coordination with the case management team to ensure safe, timely mobility and access to services.

Entry-level position under supervision, emphasizing trauma-informed care, cultural sensitivity, and respectful, confidential delivery of services to families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; an Associate Degree is preferred.
• Minimum four years of driving history with a clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to and pass a Level II Background Screening and Drug Urinalysis.
• Experience in Human Services or childcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for children in the CBC program.
• Assist the case management team with support services.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Be patient and able to communicate well with children and parents.
• Be culturally sensitive and maintain a positive attitude.
• Stay organized and manage time efficiently.
• Supervise children during transport and visitations.
• Maintain and submit vehicle paperwork on time.
• Coordinate on-call transport as needed.
