A service organization for youth is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist to advocate and mentor Transition Age Youth facing serious mental illness. This role offers a competitive starting salary of $17/hour, with part-time positions that can lead to full-time opportunities. Responsibilities include community engagement, documentation of activities, and supporting youth in achieving personal wellness. The position requires effective communication skills, a high school diploma or GED, and CPS certification.

Qualifications

• Certified as a Peer Specialist (CPS).
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and vehicle required.
• Able to work at least 20 hours/week including evenings.

Responsabilités

• Participate in weekly supervision.
• Engage in local travel using own vehicle.
• Transport youth to community locations as needed.
