Child and Family Focus, Inc. in Bucks County, PA seeks a Certified Peer Specialist to mentor Transition Age Youth (ages 14-26) with serious mental illness. You will use lived experience to inspire hope, help navigate systems, and support recovery goals, meeting weekly in home and community settings.

The role is part-time with a starting rate of $17/hour, with the potential to build to full-time. You will document sessions, travel as needed, and collaborate with a team to promote wellness and

Formación

• Be CPS certified and able to provide peer mentorship to youth.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must maintain valid driver’s license, insurance, and vehicle.
• Able to work at least 20 hours/week including 3 evenings.
• Demonstrate stability and competency in personal wellness and recovery.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in weekly, individual supervision.
• Engage in local travel in your own vehicle to offsite locations.
• Transport youth to community locations as needed.
• Document session activity in electronic health records and notes.
• Ensure program files and paperwork are organized and completed on time.
• Maintain a varied schedule including evenings.
• Meet weekly with all assigned youth on caseload.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with youth and community partners.
• Serve as a role model and coach to support youth recovery.
• Assist youth in implementing coping strategies and community engagement.
