Job summary

Child & Family Focus, Inc. seeks a Certified Peer Specialist to mentor Transition Age Youth (ages 14-26) with mental health challenges.

You will meet weekly in home and community settings, build coping skills, and support wellness and recovery using lived experience. This part-time role in Levittown, PA offers growth toward full-time, a starting wage of $17/hour, weekly supervision, mileage reimbursement, paid holidays, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Be certified as a Peer Specialist (CPS).
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Maintain valid driver’s license and vehicle.
• Able to work at least 20 hours/week with some evenings.
• Reflect the culture and values of Transition Age Youth.

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly, individual supervision.
• Travel locally in own vehicle to offsite locations as required.
• Transport youth to community locations as needed.
• Document session activity in electronic records with clear notes.
• Maintain organized program files and meet deadlines.
• Work evenings and ensure weekly contact with caseload.
• Collaborate in teams and communicate effectively with youth and peers.
• Coach Youth toward recovery using shared experiences.
