Job summary

Tides Family Services, Inc. is seeking a YTC Caseworker in Rhode Island to provide intensive case management for youth and families within the Juvenile Justice system, in a 2-3 person team.

Evening and weekend coverage is required, with collaboration across supervisors and partners. You will perform in-home and community supervision, advocacy, and crisis counseling, coordinating with community resources while documenting in electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; BSW or related degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license and registered/inspected vehicle.
• Experience with high-risk inner-city youth and juvenile justice systems.
• Bilingual: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Khmer, Creole.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and community strengths-based supervision to clients and families (3x face to face attempts daily).
• Collaborate with team of caseworkers and clinicians to develop recovery goals and utilization review.
• Provide resources, advocacy, informal counseling, mentoring, and build relationships with clients and families.
• Maintain crisis and trauma counseling to support client and family safety.
• Coordinate activities and resources across partners to increase access to services.
• Complete all case notes and paperwork in electronic health records.
• Attend required program meetings and participate in supervision.
