Job summary

United States Space Force is seeking a Recreation Specialist to help plan, manage, and administer a year-round base youth and teen recreation program and facilities on a USAF installation.

You will assist in coordinating activities across five core program areas, support budget and financial tracking, and ensure facilities and equipment meet program needs while maximizing available resources.

Qualifications

• Transcript submission may be required; official transcripts not needed at time of application.
• Foreign education may be used to meet requirements; must prove credentials are equivalent to U.S. standards.
• Education credentials must be accredited by the Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, directing, organizing, and managing youth and teen programs across core areas: Character and leadership Development, Education and Career Development, Health and Life Skills, The Arts and Sports, Fitness and Recreation.
• Assist in budgeting and financial analysis for youth programs; monitor facilities and equipment to ensure adequacy and safety.
• Coordinate all aspects of activities and events, including joint military and civilian community undertakings, to maximize use of facilities and resources.
