Job summary

Southwest Key Programs is seeking a Youth Tracker in Gainesville, GA. This part-time role requires daily contact with youth, documenting activities, and ensuring service-plan compliance across a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.

You will travel to multiple youth sites within GA and coordinate with staff to maintain safety and program integrity. The position emphasizes crisis response, responsible driving, and reliable transportation, with reimbursement for travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 3 months working with youth and families or a related field.
• Maintain clean driving record, active driver's license, registration and vehicle insurance (must be supplied to Program Director before expiration).
• Must have reliable transportation, registration and maintain state mandated car insurance- and responsible for supplying renewal documents to the Program Director.
• Clear result from a criminal background check by the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice.
• Clear drug screen results from the organization’s designated medical facility.
• Possess good verbal and writing skills.
• Ability to assist with goal oriented casework.
• Ability to manage conflict and perform well in crisis situations.
• Ability to confront clients with problematic behaviors and set limits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face to face daily contacts at various locations with youth assigned.
• Manage behaviors through programmatic and individual structure.
• Develop and maintain helping relationship emphasizing youth accountability.
• Complete required documentation, including discharge information, for assigned youth in an accurate and timely manner.
• Enter data into JTS and ETO and keep files up to date.
• Notify Program Director immediately in case of crisis or incidents.
• Regular and punctual attendance.
• Assist and participate in the coordination of youth activities and groups as needed.
• Provide staff relief and be on call to support staff.
• Provide youth advocacy in health, education, vocation, legal and family work.
