Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a Youth Support Specialist (DSP) in Reynoldsburg, OH to provide direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities. Training is provided; no prior experience required.

This part-time 2nd shift role offers paid training, a full benefits package for full-time employees, PTO, and opportunities to grow within ViaQuest Residential Services.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's criteria.
• Ability to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs and to climb/balance/kneel/crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – fostering independence, choice and empowerment while meeting health and safety needs.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of life.
• Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.

At ViaQuest ICFs, our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required!
