Pathways to Life, Inc. in Greenville, NC is seeking a Residential Paraprofessional to join our Group Home team, providing structured support and daily living assistance for youth in a safe, nurturing environment.

This 3rd shift position (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid NC driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs while actively engaging youth in activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid NC driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Experience with youth with mental health, developmental, or behavioral challenges preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and actively engage with youth.
• Willingness to be flexible with schedule changes.

Responsibilities

• Assist youth with daily living activities, emotional regulation, and social skill development.
• Implement individualized behavior strategies, de-escalation techniques, and crisis interventions.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive residential environment.
• Document daily service notes and behavioral observations per agency and NC standards.
• Participate in team meetings and treatment planning.
• Some travel required for youth appointments and school meetings.
