Pathways to Life, Inc. is hiring Residential Paraprofessionals for our Greenville Group Home. You’ll provide structured support, guidance, and care for youth in a safe, nurturing environment.

Team shares the schedule on a rotating basis, so every member works both evening and overnight shifts. You’ll collaborate with team members, document observations, participate in meetings, and assist with transportation and school meetings as needed.

Competenze

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid North Carolina driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to rotate between 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) and 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and engage with youth.
• Flexibility for occasional schedule changes.

Paraprofessional – Residential Group Home

Location: Greenville, Pitt County, NC

Schedule: Rotating shifts, Sunday through Saturday availability required

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Important: This position requires the ability to rotate between both 2nd and 3rd shift. Applicants who can only work one shift cannot be considered.

• Use individualized behavior strategies, de-escalation techniques, and crisis intervention
• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive group home environment
• Document daily service notes and behavioral observations according to agency and NC standards
• Take part in team meetings and treatment planning
• Provide transportation for youth appointments and attend school meetings as needed

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid NC driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to rotate between 2nd shift (3 PM – 11 PM) and 3rd shift (11 PM – 7 AM), with availability any day of the week, Sunday through Saturday
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stay actively engaged with youth
• Flexibility for occasional schedule changes as needed

• Experience working with youth who have mental health, developmental, or behavioral challenges
