Job summary

Community Human Services seeks a Full-Time Counselor I for the DAISY program to provide direct counseling to youth aged 13–18, including individual, family, and group sessions. The role includes intake, assessment, and maintaining client files and treatment plans.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work with at least two years of related experience and a valid CA driver's license. Bilingual abilities enhance terms of employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work; two years related work experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• Preference given to applicants with clinical supervisory experience.
• Valid California driver's license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct service to clients through counseling relationships in the treatment program.
• Offers individual, family, and group counseling for youth and families.
• Conducts intake and assessment and maintains client files with treatment plans.
• Generates data for agency reports and interfaces with collaborative agencies.
• Facilitates Seven Challenges Program with youth and handles crisis appointments
