Job summary

The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking a Program Manager of Youth Programs and Community Outreach to oversee STEAM camps and related youth education initiatives. You will manage curriculum planning, instructor supervision, logistics, compliance, and budget performance, while expanding community partnerships and driving enrollment and revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in program management or admin of youth-focused programs; 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Experience planning, implementing, and evaluating youth/community outreach programs.
• Valid Texas driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and administration of youth programs and outreach, including STEAM camps for grades 3–12.
• Oversee logistics, scheduling, facilities, and registration while ensuring compliance and safety.
• Develop partnerships with schools, nonprofits, municipalities, and community stakeholders.
• Represent the department at events and build relationships to support goals.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate instructors and staff.
• Ensure staff alignment with safety procedures and pedagogical standards.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote programs and enrollment strategies.
• Identify new program opportunities and assist pricing and revenue strategies.
• Collect and analyze data on participation, outcomes, satisfaction, and finances.
• Prepare reports and support grant initiatives and budget management.
• Assist in proposals and grant compliance to expand capacity.
