Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale is seeking a full-time Sports & Fitness Coordinator at the Steve & Maria Sanghi Branch in Scottsdale to lead sports programming and leagues for youth.

You will plan, implement, and assess programs, manage registrations and safety, supervise volunteers and part-time staff, and build partnerships with families and local schools to promote healthy, active participation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ work experience in youth development, recreation, or related fields.
• Previous sports league experience and strong knowledge of PE curriculum.
• Solid understanding of rules for individual and team sports; relationship with families and communities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to adapt to new technology.
• CPR and First Aid certifications; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate youth sports programs and leagues.
• Oversee registration, events, participation data, and incident reporting.
• Coordinate league scheduling and ensure safe, quality programming.
• Train and supervise coaches, officials, and volunteers; maintain safety protocols.
• Build relationships with parents, community partners, and schools.
• Manage budgets and promote club league programs within the community.
