Job summary

The Arlington Heights Park District is seeking an Athletics Supervisor to lead youth sports programs at Sunset Meadows Turf Fields and Recreation Park. You will plan and oversee events, hire and train staff, and ensure high-quality recreation experiences for the community.

Responsibilities include budgeting, program development, and coordinating tournaments like 3v3 soccer and basketball. A BA/BS in related field and CPR/AED certification within six months are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Collaborates with Recreation staff to organize and evaluate athletics programs.
• Experience in supervising youth sports and related camps or clinics is preferred.
• CPRP certification or equivalent experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Recreation staff in creating, organizing, promoting, planning, and evaluating assigned athletics programs.
• Direct supervision of youth soccer, youth basketball, classes, clinics, and athletic camps; handles budgeting, marketing, and staffing.
• Organizes and facilitates annual tournaments and other athletic events.
