Job summary

The YMCA of Boca Raton Florida Inc seeks an entry-level Sports Associate for the Peter Blum Family YMCA in Boca Raton, FL. The role develops youth and adult sports programs, fosters teamwork, confidence, character and respect, and blends administration with programming.

The ideal candidate is flexible, organized and personable, with responsibilities spanning program development, facility upkeep, marketing communications and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Executes the development and operations of assigned program areas
• Ensures upkeep of related facilities and equipment
• Provides support for management team, annual fundraising campaign, and volunteer committees/board as assigned.
• Develops and maintains effective working relationships within the community.
• Develops, produces and distributes program information necessary to promte assigned programs, in accordance with marketing plans.
• Ensure that safety procedures are followed and that all programs are in compliance with YMCA standards, all regulations and other applicable standards.
• Ensures high quality programs through innovative program development evaluations in ongoing training
• Provides data and reports as required for assigned programs
