Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Understand and be committed to the YMCA mission and character development.
• Understanding of sports rules and regulations pertaining to duties.
• Must meet all pre-employment requirements including a criminal background investigation.
• Certifications required within 90 days of hire: CPR/AED, First Aid and Safe Schools.
• Understand and be committed to the YMCA mission and character development.

Responsibilities

• Follow YMCA policies, rules, regulations and procedures including safety procedures.
• Serve as a role model to staff, members and guests by demonstrating YMCA values.
• Provide service and engagement to build relationships and loyalty.
• Follow YMCA policies (timecard, personnel, dress code, emergency procedures).
• Assist with sports activities to advance the YMCA program.
• May perform record keeping and tracking of sporting events.
• Submit vacation requests two weeks prior to taking time off as per policy.
• Give a two week resignation notice.
• Attend all required staff meetings.
• Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
