Mid-Willamette Family YMCA in Albany, OR is seeking a part-time staff member to help run a safe, appropriate program for children and/or adults under supervision. You will support sports activities, assist with event records, and help maintain program quality.

Key requirements include strong communication, a commitment to YMCA values, and the ability to follow safety procedures. Candidates must complete CPR/AED, First Aid and Safe Schools within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of sports rules and duties.
• Must be committed to the YMCA mission and character development.
• Must meet pre-employment requirements including a background check.
• CPR/AED, First Aid and Safe Schools certifications within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Follow all YMCA policies, rules, regulations and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures at all times.
• Serve as a role model to all staff, members, and guests by demonstrating the YMCA mission and core values at all times.
• Ensure a level of service and engagement that builds relationships and loyalty among those we serve.
• Follow all YMCA policies and procedures (i.e. timecard, personnel, dress code, and emergency procedures).
• Assist with sports activities to advance the YMCA Program.
• May do record keeping and tracking of sporting events.
• Put in vacation requests two weeks prior to taking time off as per the vacation policy.
• Give a 2 week notice before resigning from this position.
• Attend all required All Staff Meetings.
• Complete all other duties as assigned by my supervisor.
