Job summary

i9 Sports Corporation is seeking a part-time Sports Coordinator in Columbus, OH to enhance the player and coach experience, build strong relationships with players, parents, and coaches, and ensure accurate delivery of instructional aspects during practices and games.

The role involves hands-on involvement with practices and games across age groups, with weekends and some evenings required for the season. A team-based, fun-focused atmosphere and opportunities for online training are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge.
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently.
• Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players.
• Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships.
• Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values.
• Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
