Job summary

i9 Sports seeks a Sports Coordinator in Pickerington, Ohio to enhance the game-day experience for players and families. You will build relationships with players, parents, and volunteer coaches while ensuring the instructional aspects are delivered; observing, assessing, and assisting coaches is key.

You will hands-on participate in practices and games across all groups and skill levels, empowering volunteers and ensuring safety and fun throughout the season.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
• Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
• Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
• Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, :7 weeks)

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
