Job summary
The i9 Sports Corporation is seeking a Sports Coordinator to enhance the youth sports experience for players and coaches. You will build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring high-quality instruction and supervision during practices and games across age groups and skill levels.
Role emphasizes hands-on involvement, mentoring coaches, and delivering a fun, safe, and engaging program. Weekend/evening availability is expected.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills with players, parents, and coaches.
- Coaching experience and knowledge in specific sports offered.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and solve problems.
- Ability to keep players safe and manage incidents professionally.
- Positive attitude and strong relationship-building with stakeholders.
- Willing to work weekends and some evenings across the season.
Responsibilities
- Support and empower parent volunteer coaches to lead practices focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
- Teach and demonstrate core concepts including sportsmanship values.
- Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and provide superior customer service.
- Officiate games.
