Job summary

The YMCA of Snohomish County is seeking a Youth Sports Program Coordinator to develop, organize, and implement high quality YMCA Youth Sports programs for diverse participants. You will work in program ratio as needed, creating a safe, positive and inclusive atmosphere in line with YMCA policies.

Responsibilities include managing programs for assigned locations, recruiting and directing staff/volunteers, ensuring safety, staying within budget, collecting fees, and coordinating with families and

• One year or more experience as a coordinator or supervisor of programs.
• Basic computer skills/knowledge required.
• Fluency in second language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct and coordinate programs for assigned location(s).
• Recruit, hire, train, develop, schedule and direct personnel and volunteers as needed.
• Review and evaluate staff performance and motivate to achieve goals.
• Ensure program operates within budget and that program fees are collected.
• Assure compliance with state and local regulations related to program areas.
