Job summary

i9 Sports - Hayward/San Leandro Area, CA is seeking passionate Youth Sports Coordinators to lead sessions, mentor volunteer coaches, and deliver a safe, high-energy experience for players ages 3-14.

You will oversee practices and games, work with parents, and ensure positive interactions on and off the field. This onsite, Saturday-focused role offers a team environment and opportunities to grow coaching skills and build community relationships.

Job Overview

Are you passionate about youth sports and making a positive impact in your community? We’re seeking high-energy and motivated Youth Sports Coordinators who are responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. In this role, you aren't just an instructor; you are the leader of the field. You will oversee each session, coordinate and mentor our Parent Volunteer Coaches, and ensure a dynamic, positive, and high-energy experience is delivered to all players. The position entails hands‑on impact on practices and games among all age groups (3-14) and skill levels.

This position is based in the Hayward / San Leandro Area, California.

We have one Sports Coordinator per sport, so please specify which sport(s) you are interested in (Soccer, Flag Football, Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball).

Duties

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts, including Sportsmanship values
• Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day
• Act as the main point of contact on the field, consistently demonstrating a positive attitude and superior customer service skills with parents, participants, and staff.

Position Type

Part-Time W-2 Employee (usually on Saturdays).
