Job summary

The Appleton YMCA and its sister Ys are hiring Youth Sports Instructors & Coaches. These part-time roles primarily run weekday evenings (4:00-7:00 PM) and Saturday mornings, with opportunities for additional hours. Eligible for YMCA benefits through the organization.

Ideal candidates have a love of sports and enjoy working with children, including those with a variety of abilities. This role emphasizes building positive, fun experiences through sports.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge and love of sports.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Desire to work with individuals with a variety of abilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach skills for soccer, football, volleyball and basketball.
• Help participants develop a passion for the games and improve their abilities.
• Lead practices and activities during weekday evenings (4:00–7:00 PM) and Saturday mornings.
