Job summary

Elizabeth Layton Center Inc. seeks a Youth Specialist to join the CBS team in Paola, KS. The role focuses on supervising and supporting youth with severe emotional disturbances across schools, homes, and community settings.

You will work under a QMHP supervision to provide information, education, and training aimed at increasing independence, productivity, and community inclusion while maintaining documentation and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 40 hours of training in supportive services or willingness to attend on-site training.
• Must pass Medicaid regulations security check.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one psychosocial rehabilitation services for youth.
• Develop and provide structured psychosocial group activities.
• Support personal care goals and treatment plans for youth.
• Organize program activities and maintain a safe, productive environment.
• Maintain records for reporting, evaluation, and clinical purposes.
• Complete daily paperwork and reports by deadlines.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.
• Maintain productivity standard of 55% of hours worked.
