Job Overview:

Soccer Shots Pittsburgh is hiring a full-time Youth Soccer Coach to work in the Greater Pittsburgh area, particularly the Pittsburgh North region. This position is full-time with compensated drive time, and may occasionally require working at locations outside of the Pittsburgh South region, such as Pittsburgh West and Pittsburgh City areas.

Responsibilities:

• Coach upwards of 30-35 sessions per week, with sessions ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Must have the ability and willingness to coach several sessions in a day, multiple days per week. Local driving is required.
• Staff development & evaluation

• Marketing - partake in seasonal marketing efforts including distribution of marketing flyers and yard signs.
• Communication - respond to communications within 24 hours.

Preferred Experience and Education:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge of early childhood education / physical education / recreation / athletics and development best practices preferred
• Well organized & technologically savvy - experience with Google Drive / Sheets / Docs

Work Hours / Location:

• This is a full-time, exempt position with varying expected working hours, including weekends and some weekday evenings.
• This position will be based partially out of our office in Carnegie, PA and partially from home, requiring routine daily travel to session locations throughout the Greater Pittsburgh Area. Flexibility is required as this position does not follow a traditional M-F 9-5 schedule.

Important Note:

Many of our staff members work remotely; we need a reliable person who can work alone and is self-motivated, self-regulated, driven, and goal-oriented. Much of our communication takes place via email, text messaging, phone calls, and online video conferencing. The candidate MUST be motivated, organized, communicative, and self-sufficient. This position is NOT suitable for those who require a significant amount of oversight or a highly structured work environment.

Compensation:

• Starting salary range of $28,000 to $34,000 per year, negotiable based on experience and qualifications
• Additional monthly stipend for gas.
