Job summary

Soccer Shots - SE Mass is seeking an energetic Children's Soccer Coach to inspire young players in Fall River, MA. You will lead fun, age-appropriate sessions, teach basics of dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork, and follow our structured curriculum.

Ideal candidates have experience with children in coaching or childcare, strong communication with kids and parents, and a child-first mindset. Join a supportive team focused on fun, skill development, and positive coaching.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting.
• Basic soccer knowledge and a passion for the sport.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with kids and parents.
• Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a child-first mindset.
• Reliable transportation to travel to program locations throughout the Southeast Mass area.
• Must pass a background check prior to employment.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging, age-appropriate soccer sessions for children in a safe and encouraging environment
• Teach fundamental soccer skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork
• Develop and follow structured lesson plans aligned with the Soccer Shots curriculum
• Maintain a positive, high-energy atmosphere that keeps kids motivated and excited to learn
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player progress and session updates
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and programs
• Set up and break down equipment before and after each session
