Job summary

Soccer Shots Central Massachusetts is looking for a passionate part-time soccer coach to serve children ages 2 to 8. Bring energy, creativity, and a safety‑minded approach to dynamic sessions, using Soccer Shots’ curriculum and teaching techniques.

You’ll set up and run sessions, encourage character development through positive reinforcement, foster a welcoming environment for all participants, and communicate effectively with families and teachers, contributing to a positive, active weekly

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for children and sports.
• Energetic, engaging and responsible.
• Safety conscious and aware of surroundings.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills.
• Coaches must have or obtain state-required clearances.
• No prior sports/coaching experience required.

Responsibilities

• Bring “Soccer Island” alive with your enthusiasm and creativity.
• Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set‑up and take‑down.
• Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling.
• Utilize Soccer Shots’ curriculum and teaching techniques in every session.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
• Follow on-site safety and attendance protocols.
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers.
