Soccer Shots - SE Mass is seeking an energetic Children's Soccer Coach to inspire the next generation in Barnstable, MA. You will lead age-appropriate sessions, teach fundamentals, and follow the Soccer Shots curriculum in a fun, supportive environment.

You will communicate with parents, ensure safety, and travel to program locations across Southeastern Massachusetts. A background in coaching or childcare and a passion for soccer are essential; CPR/First Aid is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in coaching, teaching, or childcare.
• Basic soccer knowledge and passion for the sport.
• Strong communication with kids and parents.
• Energetic, patient demeanor with a child-first mindset.
• Reliable transportation to travel to program locations.
• Must pass a background check.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging, age-appropriate soccer sessions for children in a safe and encouraging environment.
• Teach fundamental soccer skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork.
• Develop and follow structured lesson plans aligned with the Soccer Shots curriculum.
• Maintain a positive, high-energy atmosphere that keeps kids motivated and excited to learn.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player progress and session updates.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and programs.
• Set up and break down equipment before and after each session.
